Tea & Tango

Join us for a one-of-a-kind gathering where tea ceremony, movement, and presence come together in harmony.

A Moment of Presence
A guided tea ceremony opens the space: inviting stillness, breath, and awareness. As we slow down, we reconnect with ourselves before stepping into tango. From this centered place, the dance becomes a meditation in motion: listening, sensing, and sharing. Tea softens the mind; tango awakens the body. Together, they create a quiet, intimate moment of connection within and with another.

Come share an evening of calm presence, meaningful connection, and gentle discovery in community.

No experience needed! Just curiosity, openness, and an open heart.

We can’t wait to welcome you.

Eszter Tóth

Eszter is a Hungarian-born, New York–based tea practitioner. Her connection to tea began early in life, but it was later rediscovered through a deeper personal journey that evolved into a dedicated daily practice.

Her path led her to China, where she studied tea and traveled through the tea regions of Yunnan, deepening her understanding of tea as both ritual and living tradition.

She is the Co-Founder of Teagather, a late-night teahouse in Chelsea, created to share tea in a more intimate, communal setting—where people can slow down, connect, and experience the quiet depth of tea together.

Mariela Franganillo

Mariela began her tango career in the milonguero world of Buenos Aires, where she absorbed the essence of traditional social tango before bringing it to the stage.

She approaches tango as a language—a living conversation rooted in connection, musicality, and presence. Her teaching emphasizes deep listening to the partner and the music, building strong technical foundations that allow dancers to move with clarity, confidence, and expressive freedom.

She starred in Forever Tango on Broadway, collaborated with Grammy winner Pablo Ziegler at Carnegie Hall, and toured with Julio Iglesias, sharing the stage with renowned musicians.
